Senior Network & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Network & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available hybrid infrastructure environments. The successful candidate will bring extensive hands-on expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Microsoft Azure Networking, Palo Alto Firewalls, Infoblox DDI, VMware/VCF, cloud migration, and disaster recovery. This role demands a deep understanding of modern networking and cloud technologies, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless and resilient operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Network & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the following core functions:

• Cloud & Hybrid Networking: Design, implement, and manage robust networking solutions across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Microsoft Azure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
• Security Infrastructure: Configure, administer, and optimize Palo Alto Firewalls, including security policies, NAT, VPNs, and advanced threat prevention to safeguard critical assets.
• IP & DNS Management: Oversee Infoblox DDI solutions, managing DNS, DHCP, and IP address management (IPAM) services to maintain seamless connectivity and address allocation.
• Virtualization & Private Cloud: Administer and support VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), vSphere, NSX, vCenter, and vSAN environments, ensuring high availability and efficient resource utilization.
• Cloud Migration & Modernization: Lead end-to-end cloud migration projects from on-premises environments to OCI and Azure, including post-migration support and optimization.
• Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery (DR) solutions, conducting regular failover and failback testing to ensure minimal downtime and data integrity.
• Troubleshooting & Optimization: Diagnose and resolve complex issues across network, cloud, virtualization, and infrastructure layers, minimizing disruptions and enhancing system performance.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, migration runbooks, and operational procedures to support knowledge transfer and compliance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with infrastructure, security, application, and cloud teams to align technical solutions with business objectives, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing services.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in network and infrastructure engineering, with a proven track record in designing and managing hybrid cloud environments.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Microsoft Azure Networking, Palo Alto Firewalls, Infoblox DDI, and VMware/VCF.
• Cloud Migration & DR: Demonstrated expertise in cloud migration projects and disaster recovery planning, including failover testing and implementation.
• Networking Fundamentals: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, network security, and virtualization technologies.
• Problem-Solving & Communication: Exceptional troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and communicate solutions effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
• Certifications (Preferred):
  • OCI Architect Associate / Professional
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) / Azure Network Engineer (AZ-700)
