Position Overview

As a Kids Club Animator at Rixos Hotels Gulf, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging, educational, and secure activities tailored to children of all ages. Your daily responsibilities will include designing and implementing dynamic activity programs, organizing both individual and group games, and leading creative workshops. You will also contribute to special events and celebrations within the resort, ensuring they captivate young guests and their families. This role demands a keen eye for detail, as you will be responsible for welcoming children and their families, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining the smooth operation of the dedicated Kids Club spaces. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with various teams, including animation, food and beverage, and security, to create a seamless and delightful experience for all guests. This full-time position is based on-site in King Abdullah Economic City.

Key Responsibilities

• Activity Planning and Execution: Develop and deliver a diverse range of activities, including games, workshops, and mini-shows, that cater to different age groups while ensuring they are both fun and educational.
• Creative Content Development: Design visually appealing and interactive materials, such as storyboards, motion graphics, and digital content, to enhance the appeal of activities and improve guest engagement.
• Safety and Supervision: Maintain a secure environment by adhering to all safety guidelines and supervising children during activities, ensuring their well-being at all times.
• Team Collaboration: Work in tandem with other departments, including animation, hospitality, and security, to coordinate events and activities that align with the resort’s high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
• Guest Interaction: Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children and their families, fostering positive relationships and ensuring a memorable experience for all guests.
• Event Participation: Assist in the planning and execution of special events, themed parties, and seasonal activities that add excitement and variety to the Kids Club program.

Qualifications and Skills

• Communication and Service Excellence: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong service-oriented mindset, capable of engaging with children and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Animation and Activity Management: Proven experience in organizing and leading children’s activities, with a flair for storytelling, stage presence, and group dynamics.
• Creative and Technical Skills: Proficiency in storyboarding and motion graphics is highly desirable for developing visually compelling content that enhances activity engagement. Knowledge of motion capture and related digital animation technologies is considered a valuable asset.
• Professional Experience: Prior experience in childcare, leisure activities, or hospitality environments is preferred. Fluency in at least one foreign language, particularly English, is essential to facilitate communication with an international guest base.
