We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Western-trained Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Consultants to join an esteemed tertiary pediatric healthcare program in Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional critical care services to pediatric patients, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence. Your duties will include:

• Providing expert medical management for critically ill children in a tertiary or quaternary care setting.
• Overseeing the care of patients requiring advanced interventions such as ECMO, cardiac ICU support, and complex post-operative management.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including intensivists, surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and allied health staff, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participating in clinical decision-making, treatment planning, and emergency response protocols to ensure timely and effective care.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based protocols and guidelines to enhance the quality of pediatric critical care services.
• Engaging in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in pediatric intensive care medicine.
• Mentoring and supporting junior staff, fellows, and trainees to foster a culture of learning and excellence within the department.

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for this prestigious role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Board certification or fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine from an accredited institution, such as the American Board of Pediatrics, Canadian Fellowship, Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), or European Board.
• Proven experience working in tertiary or quaternary pediatric centers, with a strong background in managing complex pediatric critical care cases.
• Demonstrated expertise in areas such as ECMO, cardiac ICU, and post-operative pediatric management.
• Eligibility for GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) licensing, with a preference for candidates who can obtain Saudi Medical Licensure.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative healthcare environment.
