F&B Service Expert (Dry)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate F&B Service Expert (Dry) to join our team at a prestigious Luxury Collection hotel in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. Your responsibilities will span a wide range of duties, from setting tables and coordinating with the kitchen to engaging with guests and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in every aspect of your role.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will be expected to:

• Deliver Exceptional Guest Service: Anticipate and respond to guest needs with a proactive and attentive approach, ensuring their dining experience is both enjoyable and memorable. This includes taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing any requests or concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
• Maintain High Standards of Presentation: Ensure that all dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations, are meticulously arranged and maintained to meet the luxury standards of The Luxury Collection. This involves regular cleaning, restocking, and adhering to strict hygiene protocols.
• Collaborate with the Kitchen and Other Departments: Act as a liaison between the kitchen and guests, accurately communicating orders and any special requests. Work closely with colleagues across departments to ensure a cohesive and high-quality dining experience.
• Uphold Safety and Compliance: Prioritize the safety of both guests and team members by adhering to all company policies, procedures, and health regulations. This includes maintaining a clean and hazard-free workspace, as well as following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Demonstrate Physical Stamina and Adaptability: This role requires the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, often on uneven or slippery surfaces. You will also be responsible for lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently, and up to 50 pounds with assistance. Flexibility in reaching overhead, bending, and twisting is essential to perform your duties effectively.
• Communicate Professionally: Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times, including adhering to grooming standards and uniform policies. Your communication skills should reflect the sophistication and warmth that define The Luxury Collection brand.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Education: A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
• Experience: At least one year of related work experience in food and beverage service is preferred, though we welcome candidates with a passion for hospitality and a strong desire to learn.
• Physical Requirements: The ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for long periods, lifting, and moving objects, is essential. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where adaptability is key.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is required. Additional language skills, particularly Arabic, are a plus but not mandatory.
• Personal Attributes: A genuine passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service are critical to your success in this role. You should also demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
