Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, your contributions will be pivotal in:

• Delivering Engineering Excellence: Execute engineering activities and PPS-related procedures in strict adherence to Baker Hughes’ global standards, customer specifications, and project goals to ensure flawless execution.
• Technical Leadership: Serve as a trusted technical focal point for small to medium-sized projects, guiding them through every phase—from planning to execution—while maintaining the highest technical and operational benchmarks.
• Documentation and Deliverables: Develop comprehensive engineering documentation, procedures, and technical deliverables that drive project success and operational efficiency in process and pipeline service projects.
• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Commercial, and Applications Engineering teams to design profitable service offerings, uncover new revenue opportunities, and enhance customer value through innovative solutions.
• Mentorship and Training: Provide expert technical guidance to Field Engineers and invest in their growth through mentoring, coaching, and targeted training initiatives to build a high-performing engineering workforce.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Operations, Project Management, and Applications Engineering teams to ensure timely project delivery, accurate resource forecasting, and balanced workload distribution.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive operational efficiency by identifying and implementing best practices, contributing to commercial and capital investment decisions, and fostering a culture of innovation.
• Compliance and Safety: Uphold Baker Hughes’ policies, HSE requirements, quality standards, and competency programs while actively participating in on-call support and operational coverage as needed.

• Tool Mastery: Proficiency in essential engineering tools such as Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Centrum, and Oracle, with an advantage for candidates with prior Oracle experience.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities, coupled with the agility to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
• Certifications: Valid UKNS Offshore Survival and Offshore Medical certifications, along with any additional industry-specific training requirements.
• Work Authorization: Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom without the need for future sponsorship.
