As an Encryption Operations & Support Engineer, you will serve as the technical guardian of our security ecosystem, ensuring high availability, compliance, and operational resilience. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our encryption platforms, troubleshooting incidents, and coordinating with vendors to deliver uninterrupted service. Key Responsibilities

In this strategic role, your responsibilities will include:

• Operational Excellence: Conduct daily health checks and proactive monitoring of encryption platforms, including Key Management Systems (KMS), Hardware Security Modules (HSM), and associated infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Incident & Service Management: Handle first-level troubleshooting for encryption-related incidents and service requests, escalating complex issues to the appropriate technical teams while maintaining clear documentation and communication.
• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Lead preventive maintenance activities, coordinate patching, upgrades, and vendor maintenance windows to minimize downtime and enhance system resilience.
• License & Asset Management: Monitor and manage software licenses, subscriptions, and support contracts to ensure compliance and cost efficiency while maintaining accurate inventories.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures to facilitate knowledge transfer and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Participate in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery exercises to ensure seamless continuity of operations during critical events.
• Vendor & Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal technical teams and external vendors to resolve incidents, implement security enhancements, and align with organizational goals.
• Reporting & Compliance: Prepare comprehensive operational and maintenance reports to provide visibility into system health, security posture, and compliance status.
• On-Call Support: Provide on-call support during scheduled maintenance windows and critical incidents to ensure rapid response and resolution.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 4+ years of hands-on experience in IT operations, security operations, technical support, or cybersecurity infrastructure, with a preference for experience supporting enterprise security technologies.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of incident management, service management, troubleshooting, documentation, and change management processes.
• Certifications: One of the following is required: ITIL 4 Foundation or CompTIA Security+. Preferred certifications include Thales CipherTrust/Luna administration training, vendor-specific encryption/HSM certifications, or additional ITSM/security operations certifications.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and coordination skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Location: Full-time onsite presence in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, is mandatory.

Candidates with a proven track record in enterprise IT/security operations, encryption or HSM support, and experience with Microsoft, Linux, or enterprise infrastructure will be highly regarded.
