Key Responsibilities

As the IT Infrastructure Technical Project Manager, your responsibilities will encompass a comprehensive spectrum of project lifecycle management, including:

• Strategic Project Governance: Own and oversee the integrated project management framework, encompassing scope, budget, schedule, resources, quality, procurement, communications, and acceptance baselines. Ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations and organizational objectives while maintaining accountability for project success.
• Technical Leadership: Lead requirements validation, design coordination, and technical submittals across active infrastructure domains, including network, security, compute, storage, backup, virtualization, monitoring, and cloud/hybrid environments. Coordinate passive infrastructure delivery, such as MDF/IDF rooms, cabling, patching, and containment solutions, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client specifications.
• Low-Current/ELV Systems Integration: Manage interfaces and coordination for specialized systems like CCTV, access control, AV, BMS/IBMS, and fire-alarm solutions, ensuring seamless integration with IT infrastructure and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Procurement and Vendor Management: Drive technical procurement inputs, vendor compliance, and performance tracking. Reconcile BOQs, manage long-lead items, and ensure vendor obligations are met within delegated authority, while maintaining transparent communication and documentation.
• Risk and Change Management: Develop and maintain risk registers, issue logs, and change control processes. Utilize evidence-based progress tracking, cost forecasting, and dependency management to mitigate risks and ensure project resilience. Plan controlled cutovers and migrations with meticulous impact assessments and rollback strategies.
• Quality Assurance and Handover: Lead inspection, testing, commissioning, and defect closure processes. Facilitate operational handover, including as-built documentation, configurations, certificates, licenses, warranties, training, and asset management. Ensure residual risk transfer and supportability for long-term client success.
• Executive Reporting and Escalation: Provide the PMO Director and governance bodies with accurate, data-driven status updates, forecasts, and corrective actions. Escalate material deviations, safety concerns, or missing approvals proactively to preempt project disruptions.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this position, you must possess:

• Advanced Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent formally recognized qualification.
• Certified Project Management Authority: Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), with verifiable evidence of current validity. Self-proclaimed or expired credentials will not be considered.
• Proven Expertise: At least five consecutive years of full-time experience delivering integrated IT infrastructure projects, with demonstrable responsibility across active, passive, and low-current/ELV domains. Your experience must include end-to-end project ownership, spanning planning, design coordination, procurement, implementation, testing/commissioning, cutover, acceptance, and handover.
• Project Control Mastery: Strong capabilities in work breakdown structure (WBS) development, critical path analysis, forecasting, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management, change control, procurement tracking, and recovery planning.
• Technical Proficiency: Sufficient technical acumen to challenge designs, quantities, sequencing, and test evidence without assuming specialist designer authority. Your expertise should enable you to validate technical feasibility, compliance, and supportability throughout the project lifecycle.
