As a Field Services Engineer, you will be the trusted technical expert on-site, providing hands-on solutions that enhance patient care and operational efficiency. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving agility, and a customer-centric mindset to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our medical technologies.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include:

• Technical Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues with our medical devices for both internal teams and external customers, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational readiness.
• Preventive Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct comprehensive servicing, repairs, and preventive maintenance on our products in adherence to industry standards and internal procedures. Ensure all work is documented with detailed test and service reports.
• Installation and Upgrades: Oversee the installation, setup, and upgrades of medical devices, ensuring they meet performance specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Service Contract Management: Execute scheduled Preventive Maintenance visits as part of service contracts, maintaining proactive care for our customers’ equipment.
• Work Order and Ticket Management: Monitor and follow up on all technical tickets and work orders with precision, ensuring timely resolutions and customer satisfaction.
• Customer Coordination: Collaborate with support functions and customers to schedule visits efficiently, aligning technical interventions with operational needs.
• Compliance and Escalation: Stay current with compliance and legal aspects of the role, escalating opportunities and issues through the appropriate channels to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess:

• Education and Experience: A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Biomedical, Telecommunications, or similar disciplines are highly preferred). A minimum of three years of relevant experience in field services, technical support, or medical device maintenance.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong analytical and technical skills to troubleshoot complex issues and perform repairs with precision. Familiarity with basic IP networking is a plus.
• Communication Excellence: Fluency in both spoken and written English (technical and medical terminology) as well as proficiency in the local language. Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with healthcare professionals, engineers, and support teams.
• Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using computer systems and software tools for documentation, reporting, and technical analysis.
