Key Responsibilities:

• Create a warm and inviting first impression by greeting guests with professionalism and enthusiasm as they enter the restaurant.
• Efficiently manage reservations, providing accurate wait times and maintaining organized waiting lists to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Guide guests seamlessly to their assigned dining or bar areas, offering menus and introducing them to their dedicated waitstaff.
• Maintain a pristine reception area, ensuring it reflects the high standards of SWOT Hospitality’s ambiance.
• Cater to diverse guest needs, including children, elderly patrons, and special requests, with patience and attentiveness.
• Handle phone inquiries and reservations with clarity, demonstrating strong communication skills both in-person and over the phone.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to optimize seating arrangements, balancing workloads and ensuring smooth operations.
• Engage with guests throughout their dining experience, addressing feedback, resolving complaints, and ensuring their complete satisfaction.
• Assist in setting and clearing tables, replenishing beverages, and verifying orders to support the dining room team.
• Issue accurate dining charges, including calculating taxes and totals for to-go orders, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment by supporting other roles as needed and maintaining a positive, solution-oriented mindset.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Host/Hostess in a high-volume dining environment, with a demonstrated ability to manage reservations and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Deep understanding of restaurant etiquette and protocols, ensuring a polished and professional guest experience.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation regulations to uphold the highest standards of hygiene.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to monitor multiple areas simultaneously while maintaining efficiency.
• Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods, adapting to the demands of a bustling restaurant setting.
• Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a positive attitude under pressure.
