Your Impact

As a Senior Roads Engineer at ARX, you will play a pivotal role in designing, planning, and overseeing the execution of world-class road and highway infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Design Leadership: Lead the conceptualization, planning, and detailed design of roads and highways, ensuring alignment with global best practices and local KSA regulations.
• Technical Excellence: Perform and review complex engineering analyses, including road geometry, horizontal/vertical alignment, grading, pavement design, and traffic flow optimization. Ensure compliance with KSA’s technical standards and authority requirements.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate road systems seamlessly into broader infrastructure projects. Manage road levels, corridors, intersections, and interfaces with adjacent systems.
• Technical Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior engineers and teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Review technical deliverables, ensuring precision and adherence to project standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with government authorities, clients, and stakeholders to align projects with strategic goals and regulatory frameworks, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, plans, and documentation to support project execution and compliance.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Roads Engineer with:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 8 years of specialized experience in infrastructure projects, with at least 3 years in the KSA.
• Proven expertise in road and highway design, including geometric design, traffic engineering, pavement analysis, and intersection/junction planning.
• In-depth knowledge of KSA’s technical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements, ensuring seamless project execution.
• Proficiency in industry-leading software, such as Civil 3D and Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, to deliver precision engineering solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills in English, with an added advantage for Arabic proficiency.
• A collaborative mindset and leadership ability to mentor teams and drive project success.
