Key Responsibilities

As our Assistant Credit Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Credit Assessment and Analysis: Conduct thorough evaluations of credit applications and financial documentation to determine borrower creditworthiness, repayment capacity, and overall risk profile. Utilize established criteria to recommend appropriate credit limits and terms that align with organizational objectives.
• Documentation Review and Compliance: Ensure all loan agreements, financial statements, and credit-related documentation are accurate, complete, and fully compliant with company policies and Saudi Arabian banking regulations. Verify compliance at every stage of the credit process to mitigate risks.
• Portfolio Monitoring and Risk Management: Actively monitor existing credit accounts to identify potential risks, delinquencies, or irregularities. Proactively address issues and escalate concerns to the Credit Manager for timely resolution, ensuring the stability of our credit portfolio.
• Reporting and Strategic Support: Prepare detailed credit analysis reports, performance metrics, and portfolio insights to support decision-making. Assist in developing and refining credit policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
• Client Communication and Relationship Management: Engage with clients to clarify credit decisions, documentation requirements, and account status updates. Maintain transparent and professional communication to build trust and foster strong business relationships.
• Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all credit activities strictly adhere to Saudi Arabian banking regulations, industry standards, and internal guidelines. Stay abreast of evolving regulatory changes and their implications for credit management practices.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• 2-4 Years of Relevant Experience: A proven track record in credit management, credit analysis, or a related finance role, demonstrating expertise in assessing financial risk and maintaining credit portfolios.
• Analytical and Financial Acumen: Strong ability to analyze financial statements, credit documentation, and market trends to evaluate borrower risk accurately. Proficiency in interpreting financial data to support informed decision-making.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of credit policies, banking regulations, and compliance frameworks, with a particular focus on Saudi Arabian financial laws and industry best practices.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with credit management software, financial analysis tools, and databases. Experience with systems that track credit portfolios, risk metrics, and compliance reporting is a significant advantage.
• Organizational and Time Management: Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain high standards of accuracy in data management and record-keeping.
