Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare competitive technical and commercial proposals for infrastructure works, building construction, and transmission pipeline projects.
• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimations to ensure accurate and profitable bidding strategies.
• Analyze tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQs), and technical specifications to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine proposals, ensuring alignment with project objectives and market realities.
• Leverage market knowledge to negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions that enhance our competitive edge.
• Review and evaluate contracts to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Provide expert guidance on pricing strategies and commercial viability to support decision-making processes.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and market dynamics to inform strategic bidding approaches.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, with a strong foundation in construction and infrastructure disciplines.
• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in tendering and estimation within the contracting and construction industry, preferably in infrastructure, building construction, or transmission pipeline sectors.
• Proven expertise in cost estimation, bid preparation, and the development of technical and commercial proposals.
• In-depth knowledge of reviewing contracts, tender documents, BOQs, and technical specifications to ensure proposals are both technically sound and commercially viable.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
• A comprehensive understanding of market pricing trends and the ability to apply this knowledge to develop competitive and profitable bids.
• Familiarity with industry-standard software tools for estimation, tendering, and project management is a significant advantage.
