Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Design and Deliver Impactful Lessons: Craft and deliver dynamic, student-centered Mathematics lessons tailored to Grades 4, 5, and 6, ensuring alignment with international curriculum frameworks and school-specific academic expectations.
• Foster Engagement and Critical Thinking: Utilize interactive teaching methods—such as group activities, real-world applications, and collaborative problem-solving—to encourage active participation, questioning, and independent learning.
• Differentiate Instruction for Diverse Learners: Adapt your teaching strategies to accommodate varying skill levels, providing targeted support to help students overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
• Assess and Support Student Growth: Develop and administer assessments, including quizzes, examinations, and homework, while offering constructive feedback to guide student progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain a Positive and Structured Learning Environment: Establish a classroom culture that is both engaging and disciplined, fostering respect, collaboration, and a growth mindset among students.
• Collaborate for Student Success: Work closely with academic leadership, fellow educators, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to student development and academic achievement.
• Inspire Confidence in Mathematics: Help students build strong numerical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, equipping them with the tools to excel not only in Mathematics but in all areas of their education.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field, with a proven passion for teaching and learning.
• At least 2 years of Mathematics teaching experience, preferably within an international school setting that follows British or American curricula.
• Experience teaching elementary or lower-middle-school students, particularly in Grades 4–6, is highly preferred. Your ability to connect with young learners and adapt your teaching style to their developmental needs will be invaluable.
• Exceptional English communication skills, including clear pronunciation and the ability to explain mathematical concepts naturally and engagingly—without relying excessively on scripts or slides.
• A student-focused and interactive teaching style, characterized by creativity, patience, and a commitment to making learning both enjoyable and meaningful.
• Strong classroom management skills, enabling you to maintain order while fostering an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• The ability to develop students’ mathematical reasoning and independent thinking, encouraging them to approach challenges with confidence and creativity.
• A willingness to relocate to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where you will contribute to a vibrant and multicultural educational community.
