Key Responsibilities

As our Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining robust financial systems and ensuring compliance with both internal policies and Saudi Arabian regulations. Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of accounting functions, including:

• Financial Transaction Management: Record, review, and maintain daily accounting transactions and journal entries with unwavering accuracy. Ensure all financial activities align with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and precise processing of financial obligations and collections.
• Bank Reconciliations: Prepare and analyze bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.
• Invoice & Expense Review: Scrutinize invoices, expenses, and payment documents to ensure proper accounting classification and compliance with financial controls.
• Financial Reporting & Closing: Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, preparing periodic accounting reports and financial statements for management review.
• Fixed Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of fixed assets and calculate depreciation in accordance with accounting principles.
• Audit Support: Prepare required documentation and schedules for both internal and external audits, ensuring seamless compliance and transparency.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to Saudi Arabian accounting standards, VAT regulations, Zakat requirements, and other applicable financial laws.
• Ad-hoc Duties: Perform additional accounting-related tasks as assigned to support the financial health of the organization.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess a strong educational background, relevant experience, and a commitment to financial accuracy. We are looking for:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required. A professional certification or membership with the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) is mandatory.
• Experience: 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred, with a focus on financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, Saudi Arabian financial regulations, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with SAP or Oracle systems is a significant advantage.
• Language: A strong command of English is essential for effective communication within a multicultural environment.
