As an Estimator at JASARA PMC, you will play a critical role in the project lifecycle, bridging the gap between vision and execution. Your responsibilities will span from developing comprehensive cost estimates to collaborating with cross-functional teams—including project managers, engineers, and suppliers—to refine project feasibility and budgetary strategies. Your insights will directly influence bid preparation, proposal development, and ongoing project reviews, ensuring that every initiative is delivered with precision and within financial constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine detailed cost estimates based on project scope, specifications, and market trends to ensure financial viability and competitive positioning.
• Collaborate seamlessly with project managers, engineers, and external suppliers to gather accurate data, assess risks, and validate cost assumptions.
• Analyze and evaluate costs associated with materials, labor, equipment, and logistics, applying industry benchmarks and best practices to optimize project budgets.
• Maintain and update internal cost databases and standard estimating procedures to enhance accuracy and streamline future project planning.
• Support bid and proposal development by providing data-driven cost insights, ensuring proposals are both compelling and financially sound.
• Contribute to project reviews and decision-making forums by presenting cost-related analysis, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and recommending strategic adjustments.
• Adhere to company standards and policies while fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in cost management practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in cost estimation or project management are a significant advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in cost estimation within the construction, infrastructure, or related industries. Proven success in developing accurate estimates, managing project budgets, and contributing to bid/proposal success.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., ProEst, Sage Estimating, or similar) and full mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong aptitude for data analysis and reporting tools.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction methodologies, material costs, labor markets, and procurement processes. Familiarity with regional and international construction standards is highly beneficial.
• Analytical and Numerical Skills: Exceptional ability to interpret complex data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and present findings in a clear, actionable format.
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners. Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a notable asset.
• Attention to Detail: Unwavering commitment to accuracy, with a keen eye for identifying discrepancies, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with project and company guidelines.
• Multitasking and Deadline Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality outputs within tight deadlines.
