Key Responsibilities

Your role will be instrumental in maintaining and advancing Madeeda Hospitals’ reputation as a leader in quality and safety. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Accreditation & Compliance Leadership: Drive the hospital’s accreditation readiness by overseeing the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of accreditation programs. Ensure alignment with international standards such as CBAHI or CARF, coordinating with stakeholders to meet rigorous survey requirements.
• Compliance Monitoring & Audits: Conduct comprehensive accreditation readiness assessments, tracer activities, and internal compliance audits to identify gaps and mitigate risks. Follow up on corrective action plans to ensure timely resolution of findings and sustained adherence to regulatory benchmarks.
• Patient Safety & Incident Management: Lead the hospital’s Incident Reporting and Management system, analyzing trends, investigating root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with departments to foster a proactive safety culture.
• Performance Analytics & KPI Optimization: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics to pinpoint areas for improvement. Partner with clinical teams to develop and execute targeted quality enhancement strategies.
• Education & Awareness: Champion quality and patient safety initiatives through training programs, workshops, and awareness campaigns to empower staff at all levels.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Nursing, Quality Management, or a related healthcare discipline.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in hospital/healthcare quality management, with a strong focus on accreditation and compliance. Experience in preparing for external accreditation surveys is mandatory.
• Proven expertise in implementing accreditation standards, conducting readiness assessments, and closing compliance gaps.
• Familiarity with recognized healthcare accreditation frameworks such as CBAHI, CARF, or equivalent standards.
• Deep knowledge of healthcare quality principles, patient safety frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with quality/accreditation management systems.
• A professional certification in Healthcare Quality, Patient Safety, or Accreditation is highly valued.
