Key Responsibilities

• Supplier Sourcing and Evaluation: Proactively identify, assess, and onboard high-performing suppliers who meet quality, cost, and delivery standards. Conduct thorough market research to uncover new opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Strategic Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and contractual agreements that maximize value while maintaining strong supplier relationships. Leverage data-driven insights to advocate for cost-effective solutions.
• Purchase Order Execution: Prepare and issue purchase orders in alignment with approved requirements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to organizational policies. Monitor supplier performance to resolve any discrepancies and uphold agreed-upon specifications.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal departments—such as Finance, Operations, and Logistics—to align procurement activities with business priorities. Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating their needs into actionable procurement strategies.
• Compliance and Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of supplier contracts, pricing, and procurement documentation to ensure transparency and regulatory compliance. Stay updated on industry regulations and internal policies to mitigate risks.
• Performance Analytics and Reporting: Develop and present regular procurement reports that highlight key metrics, including costs, savings, order statuses, and supplier performance. Identify trends and opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency.
• Cost Optimization: Continuously seek out cost-saving initiatives by evaluating supplier performance, market conditions, and procurement strategies. Implement best practices to reduce expenditures without compromising quality.
• Relationship Management: Build and nurture professional relationships with both internal teams and external suppliers. Foster a culture of collaboration to ensure long-term partnerships that drive mutual success.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of educational background, technical proficiency, and soft skills that align with the demands of modern procurement:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are a plus.
