Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Product Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies for rare disease therapies within the Meta+ framework, aligning them with AstraZeneca’s global vision and market demands.
• Market Insights & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and unmet needs in rare disease treatment, providing actionable insights to guide product development.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with medical, scientific, and commercial teams to ensure seamless integration of product innovations, clinical insights, and commercial execution strategies.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, and regulatory bodies, to foster partnerships and drive adoption of innovative solutions.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize advanced analytics and data visualization tools to monitor product performance, track market trends, and optimize commercial strategies for rare disease therapies.
• Innovation & Thought Leadership: Contribute to thought leadership initiatives by presenting insights at industry conferences, publishing research, and collaborating on whitepapers to advance the understanding of rare diseases.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Advanced Degree: A master’s or PhD in a relevant field such as Pharmacology, Medicine, Biotechnology, Public Health, or a related discipline. Experience in rare diseases is a significant advantage.
• Industry Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in product management, commercial strategy, or a related field within the pharmaceutical or biotech sector, with a proven track record in rare disease or complex therapeutic areas.
• Technical Acumen: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, or similar) and experience with digital health technologies or AI-driven solutions.
• Strategic Mindset: Ability to think critically, anticipate market shifts, and develop scalable solutions that address global healthcare challenges.
• Communication & Leadership: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Fluency in Arabic is a strong asset given the regional focus.
