Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Leadership: Lead and inspire teams to adhere to LG Chem’s stringent safety policies and procedures, ensuring a culture of accountability and proactive risk management.
• Compliance and Audits: Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions in alignment with local and international regulations.
• Training and Development: Design and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for employees at all levels, fostering awareness and competence in HSE best practices.
• Incident Management: Investigate safety incidents, accidents, or near-misses thoroughly, analyzing root causes and recommending actionable solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with plant management, operational teams, and external regulatory bodies to ensure seamless alignment with HSE objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance safety performance metrics, such as reducing lost-time incidents, improving emergency response times, and optimizing resource allocation for safety programs.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of safety performance, incident reports, and compliance documentation, ensuring transparency and accountability in all HSE-related activities.
