• Strategic Advocacy: Representing Marriott International in high-level engagements with government officials, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders to promote our brand’s vision and ensure compliance with evolving policies.
• Policy & Regulatory Insight: Monitoring and interpreting government policies, legislative changes, and industry trends to advise leadership on their implications for Marriott’s operations in Saudi Arabia.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining strong relationships with government entities, including ministries, municipal authorities, and regulatory commissions, to facilitate seamless collaboration and business growth.
• Crisis & Issue Management: Addressing regulatory or reputational challenges with strategic foresight, ensuring timely and effective responses that mitigate risks and protect Marriott’s interests.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with internal teams—including Legal, Corporate Affairs, and Hospitality Operations—to integrate government relations strategies into broader business initiatives.
• Reporting & Analysis: Compiling insightful reports and presentations to inform decision-making, demonstrating the impact of government relations efforts on Marriott’s strategic goals.
