Key Responsibilities

In this full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of Ordro. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Financial Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accurate recording of financial transactions, meticulous maintenance of general ledgers, and timely reconciliation of accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare comprehensive financial statements, conduct in-depth financial analysis, and generate actionable insights to support strategic decision-making for leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes with precision, ensuring timely invoicing, payment collections, and cash flow optimization to maintain liquidity and operational stability.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with senior management to develop and monitor budgets, forecast financial performance, and align financial planning with business objectives to drive growth and efficiency.
  • Audit Support and Compliance: Assist in internal and external audit processes, ensuring full compliance with Saudi Arabian accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry-specific financial controls.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with operations, sales, and executive teams to provide transparent financial reporting, resolve discrepancies, and contribute to data-driven strategies that enhance business performance.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise, analytical rigor, and a commitment to financial excellence. We are seeking a candidate with:

  • Proven Accounting Expertise: A strong foundation in core accounting principles, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and the preparation of accurate financial statements.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support long-term planning, performance tracking, and strategic initiatives.
  • AP/AR and Cash Flow Mastery: Hands-on experience in managing accounts payable and receivable, invoicing workflows, and cash flow optimization to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions and pivot tables), and familiarity with ERP or finance systems is highly advantageous.
  • Regulatory Compliance: In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements to navigate complex financial landscapes with confidence.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: A keen eye for detail, coupled with strong analytical thinking, to identify financial trends, mitigate risks, and propose data-backed solutions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage effectively with cross-functional teams, translate financial data into clear insights, and foster a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Education and Certification: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Professional certifications such as SOCPA, CPA, or ACCA are a significant asset.
  • Industry Experience: Prior experience in the FMCG, B2B platforms, or fintech sectors is highly beneficial, though not mandatory, as we value adaptability and a growth mindset.
