Your expertise will be instrumental in navigating complex market dynamics, mitigating risks, and securing cost-effective feedstock procurement to sustain operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

In this strategic role, your responsibilities will include:

• Market Intelligence & Forecasting: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, pricing dynamics, and competitive landscapes to forecast prices and develop actionable strategies. Leverage data-driven insights to inform decision-making and enhance revenue optimization.
• Strategic Reporting & Presentation: Prepare comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate findings to senior management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• New Business Development: Identify and evaluate emerging opportunities in the petrochemical sector, assessing their alignment with operational capabilities and market demand. Develop tailored strategies to capture high-value prospects and expand market share.
• Risk Management & Hedging: Implement advanced market risk management frameworks, including hedging strategies such as crack spread locks and pricing swaps, to safeguard against volatility and stabilize revenue streams.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the New Business Development team to provide expert market insights, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and fostering synergistic growth initiatives.
• Operational Support: Manage PRC demurrage cases and oversee feedstock procurement to ensure cost efficiency and operational continuity. Maintain strong relationships with product off-takers to optimize supply chain performance.
• Market Research & Trend Analysis: Conduct rigorous market research to assess new projects, evaluate their feasibility, and align pricing strategies with operational realities.

Qualifications & Experience

We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Marketing Specialist with the following qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in business, economics, or supply chain management are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in the refined and petrochemical industries, with a strong emphasis on trading, marketing, and sales. Proven expertise in supervisory and managerial roles is essential.
• Technical & Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of refined and petrochemical products, pricing mechanisms, and market dynamics. Familiarity with crack spreads, hedging strategies, and petrochemical supply chains is critical.
• Communication & Leadership: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills are a must.
• Analytical & Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using analytical tools, market intelligence software, and computer applications to process data, generate reports, and support decision-making processes.
• Results-Driven Mindset: A track record of delivering measurable results, driving revenue growth, and optimizing operational efficiencies in fast-paced environments.
