As a Senior-level Cloud Solutions Architect within our Google Cloud business unit, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures that empower enterprises to migrate, modernize, and optimize their workloads on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This dynamic role offers the opportunity to lead transformative projects that drive digital innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

In this strategic position, your expertise will be instrumental in:

• Designing end-to-end cloud architectures on GCP, ensuring seamless integration for enterprise workloads and cloud-native applications.
• Leading comprehensive migration initiatives from on-premises or other cloud platforms to GCP, leveraging structured frameworks and best practices to ensure a smooth transition.
• Defining advanced DevOps and platform engineering architectures, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and release management to enhance operational efficiency.
• Developing tailored migration strategies, encompassing rehost, replatform, refactor, rebuild, and replace approaches, to align with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Designing and implementing cloud landing zones that adhere to stringent security, governance, and compliance standards.
• Architecting scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions using GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Cloud Run.
• Conducting migration assessments, including application discovery, dependency mapping, and migration wave planning, to minimize risks and maximize efficiency.
• Collaborating with engineering teams to implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ensuring repeatable and reliable deployments.
• Ensuring operational readiness through robust monitoring, logging, and reliability practices to maintain high availability and performance.
• Providing technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout cloud migration and modernization programs, driving alignment with business goals.
• Supporting pre-sales activities, including architecture workshops and technical proposal development, to strengthen client engagements.
• Contributing to internal capability development by establishing best practices and reusable architecture patterns that elevate team expertise.
