Key Responsibilities

As the Finance Manager / Senior Finance Manager, your role will encompass a broad spectrum of critical responsibilities:

• Financial Close and Reporting Leadership: Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring full compliance with IFRS and Saudi statutory requirements. Lead balance-sheet reconciliations, intercompany transactions, consolidation schedules, and significant journal entries with meticulous attention to detail.
• Statutory and Regulatory Compliance: Act as the primary liaison for external auditors, driving audit planning, documentation, and resolution of findings to ensure seamless audit closures. Coordinate all aspects of Saudi tax and regulatory compliance, including VAT, withholding tax, Zakat, and corporate income tax, while staying ahead of evolving regulatory changes.
• Financial Controls and Governance: Strengthen local financial controls by identifying gaps and implementing remediation plans for reconciliations, approval workflows, segregation of duties, and documentation. Foster a culture of accountability and transparency to mitigate risks and enhance operational resilience.
• Strategic Partnerships and Process Optimization: Collaborate with Group Finance, Shared Service Centers, and IT teams to drive finance-system enhancements, automation initiatives, and process improvements. Leverage your expertise to transform finance operations into a strategic enabler of business growth.
• Treasury and Cash Management: Support treasury activities, including bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and liquidity reporting, to ensure optimal financial health and operational agility.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Advisory: Provide expert guidance to business teams on Saudi accounting, statutory, and tax matters, while offering Finance leadership with data-driven insights and actionable recommendations on complex financial and regulatory challenges.
• Team Leadership and Resource Management: Supervise local accounting teams or oversee finance activities delivered through Shared Service Centers or external providers, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and high standards of performance.

Requirements

We are seeking a Finance Manager / Senior Finance Manager with a proven track record of excellence in finance, reporting, and regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates will meet the following criteria:

• Experience: Minimum of 8 years in accounting, financial reporting, audit, controllership, or a related finance function, with a preference for candidates holding senior roles such as Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or Chief Accountant. Senior Finance Manager candidates should demonstrate broader ownership, leadership, and experience managing complex accounting, audit, and regulatory matters.
• Saudi Expertise: Must be a Saudi national with hands-on experience in Saudi statutory accounting, audit, tax, and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with the local business landscape and cultural nuances is essential.
• Qualifications: Preference for candidates with SOCPA membership or a relevant Saudi professional accounting qualification. CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent international qualifications are advantageous.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with SAP or another major ERP system. Experience with finance-system implementation, migration, automation, or process improvement is a significant plus.
• Language Skills: Fluent English is mandatory; professional Arabic proficiency is highly advantageous.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional ownership, professional judgment, analytical problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to operate independently, confidently manage audits, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Industry Exposure: Experience within a multinational group, regional headquarters, or shared-service environment is highly advantageous, particularly in the technology or finance sectors.
