In this strategic and high-impact role, you will spearhead the design, governance, and delivery of secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions across leading public cloud platforms. As a key architect in our cloud transformation journey, you will define cloud architecture strategies, lead migration and modernization initiatives, and establish robust cloud foundations that align with both business objectives and cutting-edge technology trends. Your expertise will drive the adoption of DevOps practices, ensuring seamless, automated, and secure service delivery while fostering innovation across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Your role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities, blending technical leadership with strategic foresight:

• Cloud Architecture & Design: Lead the design of end-to-end cloud architectures tailored for enterprise workloads and cloud-native applications across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Develop scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions that align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Migration & Modernization: Oversee enterprise-wide cloud migration and modernization projects, employing structured frameworks and best practices to ensure smooth transitions. Evaluate and implement strategies such as rehosting, replatforming, refactoring, rebuilding, and replacing legacy systems to optimize performance and reduce operational overhead.
• Cloud Governance & Operations: Establish and enforce cloud landing zones that adhere to governance, security, compliance, and operational excellence standards. Implement robust monitoring, logging, observability, disaster recovery, and reliability frameworks to ensure operational resilience.
• Infrastructure Automation: Collaborate with engineering teams to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ensuring repeatable, version-controlled, and automated deployments. Drive the adoption of DevOps and platform engineering practices, including CI/CD pipelines and release automation, to accelerate delivery cycles.
• Strategic Planning & Roadmapping: Develop cloud architecture strategies that align with long-term organizational objectives and technology roadmaps. Contribute to cloud adoption roadmaps, modernization plans, and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Technical Leadership & Innovation: Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions leveraging cloud-native services, automation technologies, and containerization frameworks. Promote best practices in DevOps, DevSecOps, and automation to enhance efficiency, security, and scalability across projects.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to cross-functional teams, including Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and DevOps. Engage with pre-sales teams to conduct architecture workshops, develop solution designs, and contribute to technical proposals. Partner with customers, cloud service providers, and technology partners to ensure solutions meet both technical and business requirements.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure all cloud architectures comply with organizational governance, security policies, and regulatory requirements. Incorporate identity and access management (IAM), security controls, and resilience principles into solution designs to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess a strong foundation in cloud architecture, migration, and DevOps practices:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Certifications: Preferred certifications include:
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect
• HashiCorp Terraform Associate
• Kubernetes Certifications (CKA or CKAD)
• Additional DevOps or cloud engineering certifications are advantageous.
• Experience: Minimum of six years of experience in cloud architecture, migration, and delivery, with a proven track record of leading complex enterprise transformations.
