Now, we are seeking a visionary Irrigation Engineer to join our Project Management Office (PMO) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge irrigation systems that align with the region’s sustainable urban development goals.

In this dynamic role, you will serve as a technical authority within our PMO, overseeing the entire lifecycle of irrigation projects—from strategic planning and design to execution and compliance. Your expertise will ensure that every project delivers exceptional value, adheres to strict timelines and budgets, and contributes to long-term water efficiency and sustainability. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, including urban planners, contractors, and government stakeholders, you will drive innovation while upholding the highest standards of engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Your work will be instrumental in shaping the future of water management in urban environments. Key responsibilities include:

• Strategic Project Leadership: Manage and coordinate complex irrigation engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring seamless alignment with urban planning objectives, regulatory frameworks, and sustainability targets.
• Technical Excellence: Develop and refine technical specifications, design drawings, and engineering documentation using advanced software tools such as CAD, BIM, and GIS to create efficient, scalable irrigation solutions.
• Sustainable Water Solutions: Conduct in-depth analyses of water resource requirements and design innovative irrigation systems that optimize water usage, reduce waste, and support climate-resilient urban development.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with urban planners, environmental specialists, contractors, and government agencies to integrate irrigation systems seamlessly into broader infrastructure projects while addressing technical, logistical, and regulatory challenges.
• Risk and Performance Management: Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation with precision, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Site and Feasibility Expertise: Lead site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate the viability of irrigation infrastructure in diverse urban environments, ensuring solutions are both practical and impactful.
• Reporting and Governance: Prepare comprehensive project reports, progress updates, and performance metrics for senior leadership and stakeholders, fostering transparency and data-driven decision-making.
• Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure strict adherence to local regulations, environmental standards, and international best practices in irrigation engineering to safeguard project integrity and sustainability.
• Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Guide junior engineers and team members, offering technical expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the PMO.
• Process Improvement: Actively participate in project governance meetings and contribute to refining PMO processes, ensuring operational efficiency and scalability for future projects.
