Key Responsibilities

In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our data centers through a blend of hands-on technical execution and strategic collaboration. Your contributions will directly impact uptime, security, and performance across our global network. Key responsibilities include:

• Hardware and Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking equipment, and data center hardware to guarantee peak performance, reliability, and minimal downtime. Your expertise will be instrumental in sustaining the operational excellence that clients expect from Reboot Monkey.
• Proactive Troubleshooting and Support: Monitor data center operations both remotely and on-site, diagnosing and resolving complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues with precision. Your ability to swiftly identify and resolve problems will be vital in maintaining the high standards of service our clients rely on.
• Networking Excellence: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot advanced networking devices, including Cisco and Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls. Ensure secure, scalable, and efficient network operations that align with industry best practices and organizational goals.
• Operating System Proficiency: Manage and troubleshoot both Linux and Windows-based systems, performing critical updates, patches, and security enhancements. Your technical acumen will be essential in keeping systems secure, optimized, and compliant with evolving cybersecurity standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for data center operations and a commitment to delivering exceptional results. To excel in this role, you should possess:

• Education: An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, though not strictly required. Relevant certifications or hands-on experience may also be considered.
• Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of experience in data center operations, with a strong emphasis on independent or freelance projects. Your background should demonstrate a track record of managing complex IT infrastructure with minimal supervision.
• Technical Skills: Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper networking devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting both Linux and Windows environments is essential. Additionally, a solid understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, VLANs) and experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) is highly valued.
• Certifications: Valid certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS, or CompTIA Linux+ are a significant advantage and will strengthen your candidacy.
• General Requirements: Ability to travel to various data center locations in Makkah and other regions on short notice. Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, including nights and weekends, as required to meet operational demands. Access to necessary tools and equipment to perform data center tasks efficiently.
