By working closely with Electrical Engineers, Testing & Commissioning Teams, and project stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in delivering flawless electrical systems that drive operational success.

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Technician at CSI Global, your responsibilities will include:

• Execution of Electrical Installations: Perform high-quality electrical installations, inspections, and maintenance in alignment with approved drawings, project specifications, and industry standards.
• Testing and Commissioning: Assist engineers and commissioning teams in conducting comprehensive electrical tests, including continuity, insulation resistance, polarity, and earth resistance, to ensure system integrity.
• Technical Expertise: Execute tests on LV electrical systems, distribution boards, MCCs, transformers, cables, lighting, and power systems, ensuring all components function optimally.
• Interpretation and Compliance: Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications to ensure accurate installations and adherence to project requirements.
• Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis: Identify and resolve electrical faults, diagnose equipment failures, and collaborate with teams to implement effective solutions.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of test results, inspection findings, and equipment status, contributing to comprehensive testing and commissioning documentation.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Work seamlessly with site engineers, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams to address technical challenges and ensure project timelines are met.
• Safety and Compliance: Uphold stringent Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards, ensuring all work adheres to company policies, client requirements, and project procedures.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest electrical testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• A Diploma, Technical Certificate, or Vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Technician, with a focus on MEP, electrical contracting, testing & commissioning, or related fields.
• Proven expertise in electrical installation, testing, and commissioning, including experience with LV/MV systems, panels, MCCs, transformers, and switchgear.
• Technical proficiency in interpreting electrical drawings, conducting cable testing and termination, and ensuring earthing and lightning protection compliance.
• Adherence to safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining high standards of HSE in all work environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Physical stamina and adaptability to work at project sites, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with experience in specialized areas such as electrical testing & commissioning, LV/MV systems, and advanced electrical equipment.
