Key Responsibilities

As an Oracle APEX Application Support Specialist, your responsibilities will span a broad spectrum of technical and operational tasks, ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of our APEX-based applications. Your role will include:

• Technical Troubleshooting and Debugging: Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve complex issues across development, staging, and production environments, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal application performance.
• Technical Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Author comprehensive technical documentation, including release notes, deployment guides, and user manuals, to facilitate seamless onboarding and ongoing support for cross-functional teams.
• Application Support and Optimization: Provide end-to-end support for Oracle APEX applications, focusing on performance tuning, query optimization, and code refinement to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
• API and System Integration: Design and implement robust integrations between APEX applications and external systems, including REST/SOAP web services, LDAP/SSO protocols, and third-party data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
• PL/SQL Development and Optimization: Develop, debug, and optimize PL/SQL functions, procedures, packages, and triggers to support application logic, data validation, and business workflows with precision and efficiency.
• Automation and Scheduling: Create automated scheduled jobs, background processes, and real-time notifications using PL/SQL to streamline workflows and enhance operational agility.
