Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks using **Python**, **Selenium**, and **Playwright** to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Developing and executing **API tests** for microservices and distributed systems, validating functionality, performance, and security.
• Conducting **performance testing** using tools like **k6** and **JMeter** to identify bottlenecks and optimize system efficiency.
• Performing **security testing** with tools such as **OWASP ZAP**, **Burp Suite**, and **SAST/DAST** to safeguard applications against vulnerabilities.
• Integrating **SonarQube Quality Gates** into the development lifecycle to enforce code quality standards and reduce technical debt.
• Collaborating with development and DevOps teams to streamline **CI/CD pipelines**, particularly in **GitLab**, ensuring rapid and reliable deployments.
• Leveraging **Docker** and **Kubernetes** to create scalable and resilient testing environments.
• Overseeing **SIT (System Integration Testing)**, **FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing)**, and **UAT (User Acceptance Testing)** phases to ensure seamless product delivery.
• Documenting test strategies, methodologies, and findings to enhance transparency and collaboration across teams.
• Mentoring junior QA engineers and fostering a culture of quality and innovation.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• A **minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience** in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on automation and testing methodologies.
• Proficient in **Python** for scripting and automation, with experience in developing reusable test frameworks.
• Experience with at least one of the following languages: **Go**, **C++**, or **Rust**, to support complex testing scenarios.
• Deep expertise in **API Testing**, including RESTful and GraphQL endpoints, with hands-on experience in tools like **Postman**.
• Extensive experience testing **microservices** and **distributed systems**, ensuring scalability, fault tolerance, and interoperability.
• Familiarity with **Selenium** and **Playwright** for browser automation and cross-browser testing.
• Experience with **CI/CD pipelines**, particularly in **GitLab**, to automate testing and deployment processes.
• Knowledge of **Docker** and **Kubernetes** for containerized testing environments and orchestration.
• Strong background in **performance testing**, leveraging tools like **k6** and **JMeter** to simulate high-load scenarios and optimize system performance.
• Experience with **security testing** tools, including **OWASP ZAP**, **Burp Suite**, **SAST**, and **DAST**, to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Proficiency in **SonarQube Quality Gates** to enforce code quality standards and maintain clean, maintainable codebases.
• A solid understanding of **SIT**, **FAT**, and **UAT** processes to ensure comprehensive test coverage across all stages of development.
• Fluent in **English** for effective communication with global teams and stakeholders.
