Key Responsibilities

Your work will span critical phases of project execution, from initial testing to final commissioning, with a focus on precision, compliance, and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include:

• Comprehensive Testing and Commissioning: Lead the commissioning and testing of power plants, substations, and associated electrical equipment—including transformers, switchgear, relays, and other high-voltage components—ensuring full adherence to technical specifications and industry best practices.
• Technical Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed test reports, document non-conformances, and record troubleshooting efforts with meticulous accuracy. Ensure all findings are communicated transparently to stakeholders, including clients and internal teams.
• Customer Inspections and Coordination: Act as the technical liaison during customer inspections, coordinating testing activities and resolving any technical queries to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.
• Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical challenges during testing and commissioning phases. Escalate complex issues to senior management while implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure project timelines are met.
• Safety and Compliance: Uphold strict adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory standards throughout testing and commissioning activities, fostering a culture of safety at every stage.
• Technical Support and Design Review: Provide expert input during the design phase by reviewing technical documents to identify potential risks or inefficiencies, contributing to the development of robust, high-performance solutions.
• Quality and Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance testing methodologies, streamline processes, and introduce automation where feasible. Collaborate with department managers to implement corrective and preventive actions that elevate operational excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with 0-2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Proven expertise in testing methodologies, including functional testing, commissioning procedures, and quality assurance protocols.
• Familiarity with testing tools and software used in electrical testing, such as relay test sets, high-voltage test equipment, and data acquisition systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
• A deep understanding of safety procedures and compliance standards in high-voltage environments.
