Key Responsibilities

• Construction Supervision and Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous inspections of structural elements—including foundations, retaining walls, concrete works, steel frameworks, and building envelopes—to verify adherence to approved methodologies and industry benchmarks. Witness critical testing and inspections to validate material and workmanship quality, while proactively identifying and resolving structural challenges to maintain project momentum.
• Technical Review and Coordination: Lead the technical review of shop drawings, material submissions, and contractor proposals to ensure alignment with design intent. Collaborate closely with architects, MEP engineers, quantity surveyors, and construction teams to address interface issues, evaluate design modifications, and assess value engineering proposals. Provide expert recommendations to resolve complex structural challenges on-site, ensuring seamless integration with broader project objectives.
• Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Champion compliance with project quality plans, specifications, and approved procedures, verifying material test reports and inspection records to uphold rigorous standards. Monitor inspection and test plans, document non-conformities, and oversee corrective actions to ensure all structural activities meet regulatory and contractual requirements. Support quality audits and compliance reviews to mitigate risks and enhance project credibility.
• Site Inspection and Progress Monitoring: Perform regular site inspections to assess construction progress, workmanship, and adherence to approved designs. Monitor contractor execution of work sequences and structural installations, verifying compliance prior to critical milestones such as concrete pours. Maintain accurate site records and coordinate with HSE and testing teams to ensure all compliance requirements are met. Assist in tracking construction schedules and reporting progress against project milestones to keep stakeholders informed.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Act as a bridge between technical teams, contractors, and project stakeholders, liaising on structural matters to resolve issues collaboratively. Participate in progress and technical coordination meetings, providing clear and actionable insights to drive project success. Foster transparent communication across all project participants to ensure alignment on structural works progress, performance, and potential risks.
• Reporting and Documentation: Compile comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly reports on structural construction progress, compliance activities, and technical reviews. Maintain meticulous records of inspections, testing results, site observations, and non-conformances, ensuring all documentation is accurate, accessible, and ready for audits. Review contractor reports to verify structural work progress and quality data, while documenting technical recommendations and corrective actions for continuous improvement.
