As an Electrical & Low Current Engineer at HCO, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design, implementation, and execution of electrical and low-voltage (ELV) systems across diverse project types. Your responsibilities will encompass technical supervision, quality assurance, and collaborative coordination with project stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, your core responsibilities will include:

• Technical Supervision: Lead the supervision of electrical and ELV systems installation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring adherence to international and local standards.
• Document Review: Thoroughly review shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and other technical documents to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, verify quality, and ensure compliance with safety protocols, project requirements, and industry standards.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate effectively with contractors, consultants, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate seamless project execution and problem resolution.
• Project Oversight: Monitor project timelines, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to ensure timely completion and adherence to project milestones.
• Documentation Management: Review and finalize testing, commissioning, handover, and close-out documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with all regulatory and client requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, we are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution, with a strong academic background in electrical systems and low-voltage technologies.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the design, supervision, and implementation of electrical and ELV systems, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects.
• Preferred Experience: At least 5 years of experience in specialized sectors such as hotel, hospitality, mixed-use developments, or high-rise projects, demonstrating expertise in complex and high-profile environments.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of international standards including IEC, NFPA, BS, as well as local authority requirements in Saudi Arabia, ensuring compliance and best practices in all project phases.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in industry-leading software tools, including AutoCAD, Revit, and comprehensive knowledge of MS Office applications for documentation and reporting.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior engineers, coordinate with diverse stakeholders, and drive projects to successful completion.
