Key Responsibilities

As a **Data Engineer**, your responsibilities will include:

• Data Extraction and Preparation: Design and implement robust solutions for extracting, cleaning, and transforming data from diverse sources, including databases, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• ETL/ELT Pipeline Development: Develop, optimize, and maintain **ETL/ELT pipelines** to ensure seamless data flow between systems, enabling accurate and real-time insights.
• Data Pipeline Architecture: Build and maintain **scalable data pipelines** using **Google BigQuery** and other cloud-based tools to facilitate efficient data processing, storage, and transfer.
• SQL Mastery: Write, refine, and optimize **SQL queries** to extract, transform, and analyze data, ensuring performance and reliability.
• System Integration: Integrate data from **ERP, CRM, and internal systems**, ensuring consistency and interoperability across platforms.
• Data Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous **data quality checks**, identifying and resolving issues such as duplicates, inconsistencies, or missing data to maintain integrity.
• Troubleshooting and Collaboration: Diagnose and resolve data-related challenges, collaborating with technical and business teams to implement effective solutions.
• Documentation and Governance: Document data sources, transformations, and workflows to ensure transparency, traceability, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Data Warehousing and Modeling: Support the design and development of **data warehouses and analytical structures** aligned with reporting and business intelligence requirements.
• Automation and Efficiency: Automate repetitive data processing tasks to minimize manual intervention and enhance productivity.

Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking a **highly skilled Data Engineer** with a strong foundation in data infrastructure and cloud technologies. Ideal candidates will possess:

• A **Bachelor’s degree** in **Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field**.
• **2–4 years of hands-on experience** in **Data Engineering, ETL/ELT development, or related roles**, demonstrating expertise in data processing and pipeline architecture.
• Proficient **SQL skills** with experience in querying, optimizing, and managing large datasets.
• Practical experience with **ETL/ELT tools** and familiarity with **cloud data platforms**, particularly **Google BigQuery**.
• A deep understanding of **data warehousing concepts** and **data modeling techniques** to design efficient analytical structures.
• Ability to work with **multi-source data**, including structured and unstructured datasets, to derive meaningful insights.
• **Fluency in both Arabic and English**, with exceptional **verbal and written communication skills** to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Skills

While not mandatory, the following skills will be highly valued:

• Experience with **Python** for data processing, automation, and scripting.
