Your Impact

In this full-time role, you will design, develop, and optimize robust data pipelines tailored for high-volume structured and time-series data within industrial and refinery environments. Your expertise will be instrumental in integrating diverse data sources—including historians, laboratory systems, maintenance platforms, asset management tools, and engineering databases—into cohesive, high-performance data ecosystems. By ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility, you will enable stakeholders to derive meaningful insights, enhance decision-making, and optimize operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and Implement Data Pipelines: Build scalable, reliable, and high-performance data pipelines capable of handling real-time and batch processing for industrial and refinery data. Leverage advanced ETL/ELT frameworks to transform raw data into structured, analytics-ready formats.
• Master Data Integration: Seamlessly integrate data from historians (e.g., OSI PI), Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), SAP, and streaming platforms to create unified data models.
• Ensure Data Excellence: Implement rigorous data quality controls, metadata management, and lineage tracking to maintain accuracy, consistency, and governance across all datasets.
• Leverage AI-Ready Infrastructure: Work with feature stores, vector databases, and AI-ready platforms to prepare data for advanced analytics, machine learning, and predictive modeling applications.
• Contextualize Industrial Data: Translate tag-level data into actionable insights by mapping it against equipment hierarchies, process flows, and engineering specifications.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with domain experts, engineers, and data scientists to align data solutions with business objectives and technological advancements.

What We Look For

We are seeking a **Data Engineer** with a strong technical foundation and a passion for industrial data transformation. While we value diverse backgrounds, the following competencies are essential for success:

• Technical Proficiency: Proven experience in building data pipelines for high-volume, time-series data using SQL, Python, and APIs. Hands-on expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data warehousing solutions.
• Industrial Data Expertise: Familiarity with industrial data ecosystems, including historians (e.g., OSI PI), LIMS, CMMS/SAP, and streaming platforms. Experience in oil & gas, refinery, or process manufacturing environments is a significant advantage.
• Data Governance and Security: Deep understanding of data quality, metadata management, security protocols, and access controls to ensure compliance and trustworthiness.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to contextualize granular data (e.g., tag-level) within broader equipment and process hierarchies to derive strategic insights.
