As the Cost Control Manager, you will spearhead a strategic cost management framework designed to elevate efficiency, reduce waste, and maximize margins without compromising product quality or operational integrity. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Strategic Cost Management: Oversee the factory’s cost control initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while fostering a culture of cost-conscious decision-making.
• Develop and Maintain Accurate Cost Structures: Design and refine standard cost models for raw materials, labor, packaging, and overheads, leveraging advanced techniques such as recipe costing, Bills of Materials (BOM), and production yield analysis to ensure financial accuracy.
• Analyze and Mitigate Cost Variances: Conduct rigorous variance analysis for materials, labor, overheads, and production processes, identifying root causes of inefficiencies and proposing actionable solutions to enhance cost performance.
• Optimize Inventory and Production Efficiency: Monitor inventory valuation, reconcile discrepancies, and investigate wastage, spoilage, and consumption patterns to minimize losses and improve operational flow.
• Drive Profitability Insights: Deliver in-depth profitability analyses across products, categories, customers, and channels, providing senior leadership with clear, actionable recommendations to strengthen margins and operational performance.
• Support Pricing and Budgeting Strategies: Collaborate with Sales and Finance teams to ensure pricing decisions are grounded in accurate cost and margin analysis, while contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting processes.
• Enhance Financial Controls and Reporting: Improve costing policies, internal controls, and ERP systems to streamline reporting, automate processes, and empower data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a trusted business partner to Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehouse, Sales, and Finance teams, translating financial insights into operational improvements and driving alignment toward shared goals.
• Present Strategic Findings: Prepare compelling monthly cost reports, dashboards, and management presentations, ensuring leadership remains informed and empowered to make strategic, cost-informed decisions.

Qualifications and Experience:

We are looking for a highly qualified professional with:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, complemented by a professional certification such as CMA, CPA, ACCA, or SOCPA (highly advantageous).
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on manufacturing cost accounting, cost control, or financial analysis—preferably within the food manufacturing, bakery, pastry, confectionery, or FMCG sectors.
• Proven expertise in standard costing, BOM costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis, with a deep understanding of manufacturing overhead allocation and cost-saving methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, with hands-on experience in platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Odoo.
• A data-driven mindset, coupled with exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to translate complex financial data into clear, impactful insights for both operational and executive teams.
