MCC Controller – Drive Operational Excellence and Fleet Reliability

As an MCC Controller, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of aircraft performance, safety, and operational efficiency. This critical position requires a meticulous, analytical, and collaborative professional to oversee daily aircraft health monitoring, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure seamless integration between technical and operational teams. In this dynamic role, you will leverage advanced technical systems and regulatory knowledge to proactively identify, resolve, and prevent aircraft defects. Your work will bridge the gap between maintenance teams, engineering, and operational stakeholders, ensuring that every aircraft remains airworthy, compliant, and aligned with flight schedules. With a focus on data-driven decision-making, you will analyze trends, compile critical reports, and propose process improvements to enhance overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Technical Monitoring and Defect Management: Utilize the Aircraft Health Monitoring System (Skywise) to detect existing and repetitive defects, ensuring timely identification of potential issues before they escalate. Raise Maintenance Action Requests (MARs) for troubleshooting and rectification, while continuously verifying defect resolution through system monitoring.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with MCC teams, Line Planning, Line Maintenance, and contracted maintenance organizations to streamline defect resolution workflows. Act as a liaison with the AOG Desk and Material Planning to ensure the availability of necessary parts and resources for timely repairs.
• Technical Problem-Solving: Engage with Engineering and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to obtain technical guidance when standard procedures are insufficient. Review daily Minimum Equipment Lists (MELs), Configuration Deviation Lists (CDLs), and Time-Limited Defects to ensure compliance and operational readiness.
• Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including Aircraft Status Reports, Delay Reports, and Monthly Technical Dispatch Reliability Reports. Maintain accurate records of deferred defects (MELs and Non-Exemptable Defects) to adhere to regulatory standards and airline policies.
• Stakeholder Communication: Present aircraft status updates and actionable insights during daily meetings with stakeholders, including operational and management teams. Provide real-time status updates on delays and Aircraft On Ground (AOG) events to ensure transparency and proactive issue resolution.
• Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in current processes and propose innovative solutions to enhance departmental workflows. Continuously evaluate operational data to recommend improvements that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full adherence to General Aviation Civil Authority (GACA) regulations and industry standards, maintaining the highest levels of safety and operational integrity.
