In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for auditing and verifying daily revenue streams across multiple hotel departments, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, and other outlets. Your expertise will be instrumental in reconciling financial transactions, ensuring accuracy between cash, credit card systems, and accounts receivable records. By meticulously reviewing rebates, voids, discounts, and complimentary transactions, you will uphold financial policies and prevent discrepancies that could impact profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough audits of daily revenue from Rooms, F&B, and other hotel outlets to ensure accuracy and compliance with IHG standards.
• Reconcile revenue reports with cash, credit card, and accounts receivable transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies efficiently.
• Review and validate rebates, voids, discounts, and complimentary transactions to confirm proper authorization and adherence to financial controls.
• Prepare and distribute comprehensive daily revenue and audit reports, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
• Perform daily reconciliations between the Property Management System (PMS), Point of Sale (POS), and accounting records to maintain financial consistency.
• Assist in month-end closing activities, including revenue reconciliations and journal entries, to ensure seamless financial transitions.
• Support both internal and external audit requirements by maintaining meticulous financial records and documentation.
• Identify revenue discrepancies and collaborate closely with operational departments to resolve issues promptly, minimizing financial risks.
• Ensure full compliance with IHG financial policies, internal controls, and local statutory regulations, fostering a culture of accountability.
• Execute additional finance-related tasks as assigned by the Director of Finance & Business Support, demonstrating adaptability and initiative.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in financial principles and practices.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Income Audit, Accounting, or Hotel Finance, demonstrating your ability to navigate complex financial systems and processes.
• Proven knowledge of hotel PMS, POS, and accounting systems, enabling you to efficiently reconcile and analyze financial data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications, with advanced skills in data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.
• Exceptional analytical and reconciliation skills, coupled with an unwavering eye for detail to identify and rectify discrepancies.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and meet tight deadlines.
