As a key member of our team, you will leverage advanced technologies and data-driven insights to monitor, analyze, and enhance the operational integrity of highways, urban streets, intersections, and transit corridors. Your responsibilities will span real-time traffic management, asset condition assessment, incident response, and event mobility planning—all while fostering collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of strategic and operational duties, ensuring the road network operates at peak performance:

• Operational Oversight: Monitor and evaluate the daily performance of the road network, including highways, urban roads, intersections, and transit corridors, to ensure safety, efficiency, and continuous traffic flow.
• Intelligent Traffic Management: Utilize Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), real-time traffic data feeds, CCTV, and roadside sensors to analyze traffic speeds, volumes, congestion levels, and network performance. Optimize traffic signal operations and timing plans to minimize delays and enhance mobility.
• Incident and Disruption Response: Coordinate with Traffic Management Centers (TMC), emergency services, and security teams to address road accidents, vehicle breakdowns, and obstructions. Develop and implement rapid response strategies to restore network availability with minimal disruption.
• Asset Condition Management: Conduct regular technical inspections to identify pavement defects, such as cracking, potholes, rutting, and surface deterioration. Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs aligned with asset lifecycle requirements and operational priorities.
• Maintenance Coordination: Oversee the maintenance of critical infrastructure, including road barriers, guardrails, street lighting, stormwater drainage, and signage. Ensure contractors adhere to SLAs, KPIs, and safety protocols while minimizing traffic disruptions during maintenance activities.
• Event Mobility Planning: Design and review Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) plans for major events, including concerts, sporting events, and festivals. Plan safe diversions, detours, and traffic control measures to accommodate anticipated demand and prevent congestion.
• Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze historical and real-time traffic telemetry to identify recurring congestion zones and network bottlenecks. Propose actionable improvements to enhance overall operational efficiency and user experience.
• Smart City Integration: Support the integration of advanced ITS devices, such as Variable Message Signs (VMS), traffic detectors, and CCTV systems, to create a seamless, data-driven transportation ecosystem.
