Key Responsibilities

Your strategic vision and financial acumen will be central to the following core responsibilities:

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy that aligns with the organization’s long-term vision, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to drive profitability and shareholder value.
• Commercial Finance and Performance Optimization: Oversee the financial health of all venues, projects, and business units, focusing on margin enhancement, cash flow optimization, and revenue generation strategies to ensure sustained financial success.
• Regulatory Compliance and Governance: Ensure the accuracy, transparency, and compliance of all financial statements with international standards such as SOCPA, IFRS, as well as local regulations including Zakat and VAT. Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks to mitigate financial risks and ensure ethical financial practices.
• Treasury and Liquidity Management: Manage the organization’s liquidity, working capital, and banking relationships while identifying and mitigating financial risks. Leverage financial insights to support strategic decision-making and capital allocation.
• Finance Transformation and Innovation: Lead the implementation of advanced ERP systems, automate reporting processes, and standardize financial operations to enhance efficiency and scalability. Drive digital transformation initiatives that align with the organization’s growth trajectory.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management: Serve as the primary financial liaison with joint venture partners, shareholders, and the Board of Directors, fostering trust and collaboration through transparent communication and strategic financial insights.
• Team Development and Mentorship: Build and lead a high-performing finance team by fostering a culture of excellence, professional development, and continuous improvement. Mentor finance professionals across corporate and operational levels to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this transformative role, we are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and expertise:

• Extensive Financial Leadership: At least 15 years of progressive experience in financial leadership, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior executive role such as CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent. A track record of driving financial strategy, operational efficiency, and stakeholder value is essential.
• Education and Certifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees such as a Master’s or MBA are highly preferred. Professional certifications like CPA, CMA, or ACCA will be advantageous.
• Industry-Specific Expertise: Proven experience in the sports, entertainment, venues, or facilities management sectors is strongly preferred. Familiarity with the unique financial challenges and opportunities within these industries will be a significant asset.
• Regulatory and Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Saudi financial regulations, joint venture corporate structures, and international accounting standards (SOCPA, IFRS). Experience navigating complex tax environments, including Zakat and VAT compliance, is critical.
• Executive Presence and Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with senior executives, board members, and external partners. A collaborative and diplomatic approach to resolving financial and operational challenges is essential.
