As a Pushback Operator, your responsibilities will include operating specialized pushback equipment to maneuver aircraft away from gates, ensuring adherence to strict safety protocols, and collaborating closely with ground crew, pilots, and air traffic control. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain pushback tractors to safely and efficiently guide aircraft from gates to taxi positions, adhering to all operational and safety guidelines.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to identify and report any mechanical issues or malfunctions, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with maintenance standards.
• Coordinate with ground handling teams, pilots, and air traffic control to facilitate smooth aircraft movements, minimizing delays and maximizing efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to airport-specific safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and any incidents or near-misses, contributing to continuous improvement in operational safety.
• Assist in training and mentoring new team members, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and professionalism.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Pushback Operator or in similar ground handling equipment operations, preferably within an airport or aviation environment.
• Strong understanding of aircraft pushback procedures, safety protocols, and airport ground operations.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including pilots, ground crew, and air traffic control.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of focus and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate pushback tractors and other relevant ground support equipment.
• Physical fitness to perform tasks that may require lifting, pushing, or operating heavy machinery for extended periods.
