الوصف الوظيفي

Join Lucid’s Visionary Team and Redefine Quality Standards in Automotive Excellence

At Lucid, we are pioneering the future of mobility by delivering groundbreaking vehicles that seamlessly blend cutting-edge performance, sustainability, and unparalleled design. Our award-winning Lucid Air and Lucid Gravity models embody our commitment to innovation—where no compromise is ever made. By integrating design, engineering, and production under one roof, we foster a culture of excellence that attracts top talent from around the globe. As a Quality Engineer II in Body Structures & Closures, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality for Lucid’s most ambitious projects, operating within our state-of-the-art Advanced Manufacturing Plant 2 (AMP2) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This dynamic role demands a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will partner with cross-functional teams—including Supplier Quality, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Launch, and Field Quality—to safeguard Lucid’s production lines from quality risks throughout the entire product lifecycle. From early development to launch and beyond, your expertise will be instrumental in driving robust quality execution, ensuring that every vehicle that rolls off the line meets Lucid’s legendary standards of precision and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Your impact will be felt across multiple critical areas:

  • Leadership in Quality Assurance: Oversee compliance of quality deliverables at every project milestone during the launch phase, aligning with Lucid’s corporate standards to maintain the highest levels of integrity and reliability.
  • Collaborative Quality Validation: Lead follow-ups on quality tests and validations in partnership with Product Engineering, ensuring that every component meets the rigorous benchmarks set for Lucid’s vehicles.
  • APQP and PPAP Excellence: Collaborate with Supplier Quality and Product Engineering to review, validate, and support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities, guaranteeing part maturity and production line stability.
  • Supplier Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify supplier risks and lead mitigation strategies, working closely with Supplier Quality Development to preemptively address potential issues before they impact production.
  • Incoming Quality Management: Define inspection requirements for Incoming Quality and provide training to internal teams and third-party resources, ensuring seamless quality control from the outset.
  • Problem-Solving and Containment: Drive root-cause analysis and containment efforts for internal quality issues identified through Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and Lucid Customer Product Audits, collaborating with Field Quality, Supplier Quality, and Manufacturing to implement sustainable solutions.
  • Customer-Centric Quality Resolution: Contribute to customer satisfaction by leading the resolution of quality findings at 0, 3, 6, and 12 months post-delivery, coordinating with Field Quality, Supplier Quality, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure long-term reliability.
  • New Parts Introduction (NPI) Coordination: Ensure readiness and approvals for NPI, including trials, part change management, and PPAP approvals, to streamline the transition from development to production.
  • Change Management and Tracking: Monitor and track Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) within Lucid’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, ensuring all changes are documented, approved, and implemented efficiently.

Why Your Expertise Matters

Lucid is not just another automotive company—we are a movement. We seek professionals who are as passionate about excellence as we are. If you bring a blend of technical acumen, cross-functional leadership, and a relentless drive for continuous improvement, you will thrive in this role. Your ability to influence, motivate, and align diverse teams will be crucial in navigating the complexities of our high-impact projects. Whether you are analyzing data, leading problem-solving initiatives, or collaborating with suppliers, your contributions will directly shape the future of Lucid’s vehicles and the broader mobility landscape.

What You Bring to the Table

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, Total Quality Management, or a related discipline, coupled with 5+ years of hands-on experience in quality or manufacturing—post-graduation.
  • 2–4 years of experience in a greenfield Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) environment, where you have honed your skills in driving quality from the ground up.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, enabling you to communicate complex quality issues clearly and persuasively across all levels of the organization.
  • A proven ability to influence and align cross-functional teams and senior leadership, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, allowing you to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment without compromising on quality or deadlines.
  • Advanced data analysis and visualization skills, empowering you to derive actionable insights from quality metrics and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience leading complex quality issues and translating technical findings into actionable solutions for all stakeholders.
  • A plus: Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and a track record of leveraging technology to enhance quality processes.

At Lucid, we are more than just a workplace—we are a community of innovators. Join us in shaping the future of mobility, where your expertise will make a tangible difference in the world.
