Key Responsibilities

Your role as a Family Medicine Registrar at NCC encompasses a broad spectrum of clinical and administrative duties, ensuring comprehensive patient care and operational excellence:

• Clinical Excellence: Conduct thorough patient assessments, document findings accurately, and design personalized care plans tailored to individual health needs. Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions with precision, utilizing the latest evidence-based practices.
• Patient-Centered Education: Empower patients with knowledge about their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures. Provide clear guidance on medication adherence, dietary habits, hygiene practices, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term wellness.
• Investigation and Treatment: Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests to inform accurate diagnoses. Prescribe medications judiciously, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes while adhering to clinical guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Compliance and Documentation: Maintain meticulous patient records in compliance with NCC policies, Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) regulations, and international healthcare standards such as CBAHI. Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards in all clinical interactions.
• Collaborative Leadership: Actively participate in NCC committees, task forces, and quality improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency and enhance patient outcomes. Foster strong working relationships with colleagues, external agencies, and community stakeholders to create a cohesive healthcare ecosystem.
• Professional Development: Lead and participate in continuing medical education (CME) programs, including rounds, conferences, lectures, and journal clubs. Mentor junior staff and contribute to the professional growth of the clinical team, ensuring NCC remains at the forefront of medical innovation.
• Regulatory Adherence: Comply with all NCC policies, procedural guidelines, and Saudi healthcare regulations. Complete mandatory training, including fire safety protocols, and maintain compliance with clinical and departmental standards.
• Quality and Innovation: Engage in continuous quality improvement activities to align with Clinical, Ministry of Health (MOH), and CBAHI standards. Integrate population-specific factors such as heritage, environmental influences, and disease prevalence into patient care plans for culturally competent and effective treatment.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from a recognized university, complemented by either a Master’s degree in Family Medicine or a Fellowship approved by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Clinical Experience: 2 years of postgraduate clinical experience following your Master’s degree or eligibility to sit the board examination in Family Medicine.
• Licensure: Valid SCFHS registration as a Registrar in Family Medicine.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in health information systems and office software to ensure seamless documentation and workflow management.
• Language Skills: Fluent verbal and written communication in both English and Arabic to effectively engage with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, empathy, and a patient-focused mindset to build trust and deliver compassionate care. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex medical scenarios.
