As a key member of our PMO team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders—including project managers, planners, cost controllers, and external consultants—to embed risk awareness into every phase of project execution. Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering a culture of risk intelligence, where data-driven insights inform critical decision-making and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Framework Development: Lead the design and implementation of advanced risk management methodologies, tools, and frameworks tailored to large-scale capital and major projects, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and industry best practices.
• Risk Identification & Assessment: Facilitate collaborative risk workshops with project teams, consultants, and contractors to systematically identify, evaluate, and prioritize risks across all project phases—from conceptual design to execution and commissioning.
• Data-Driven Analysis: Conduct rigorous qualitative and quantitative risk analyses, including Monte Carlo simulations, to assess schedule and cost impacts, leveraging tools such as @Risk or Primavera Risk Analysis to provide actionable insights.
• Risk Reporting & Governance: Develop and maintain comprehensive risk registers, dashboards, and reports to support governance reviews, leadership reporting, and audit requirements, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Mitigation & Continuous Improvement: Design and implement proactive risk mitigation strategies, track response actions, and contribute to lessons learned initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership, project teams, and external auditors to embed risk management practices into daily operations, while providing training, coaching, and mentorship to junior analysts and project teams.
• Compliance & Assurance: Ensure adherence to corporate risk management policies, international codes, standards, and specifications, while supporting stage-gate reviews and assurance activities to uphold project integrity.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Drive risk awareness and best practices across the organization through workshops, training sessions, and awareness programs, fostering a proactive and resilient project environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Certification in risk management (e.g., PMI-RMP, MoR, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 10–12 years of progressive experience in risk management, with a proven track record in enterprise risk frameworks, operational risk, and project risk within large-scale industrial environments. Experience in multinational or complex matrix organizations is a significant advantage.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of engineering practices, international codes, standards, and specifications, coupled with proficiency in risk management tools (e.g., @Risk, Oracle Crystal Ball) and project control software.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking, strong communication, and leadership abilities—particularly in multicultural environments—alongside a commitment to developing others and driving collaborative outcomes.
• Industry Expertise: Practical understanding of safety, environmental fundamentals, and their application in high-stakes project environments.
