As an Engineer, Testing & Commissioning, you will be responsible for leading the execution of rigorous testing protocols, troubleshooting technical challenges, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in validating the performance of substation equipment, transformers, relays, switchgear, and other critical components before they enter operational phases. Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of responsibilities, ensuring that every phase of testing and commissioning adheres to the highest standards of efficiency and reliability:

• Comprehensive Testing and Commissioning: Conduct functional testing of power plants and substations in accordance with predefined schemes, ensuring all systems meet operational requirements. Execute site-based testing and commissioning activities for substation equipment, including relays, switchgear, transformers, and other high-voltage components.
• Technical Leadership and Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed test reports, including updates, corrections, and documentation of non-conformances. Provide technical support by reviewing design documents prior to release, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry best practices.
• Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement: Implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance testing methodologies and processes. Collaborate with department managers to drive quality improvements and maintain comprehensive records of all activities.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements during testing and commissioning phases. Ensure all operations comply with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
• Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and train subordinates, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Delegate tasks effectively, distribute workloads equitably, and maintain high morale and motivation among team members.
• Problem-Solving and Delivery Excellence: Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, escalating complex problems as necessary. Deliver projects on time and within budget, providing periodic reports on task execution and deviations from planned schedules.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for automating processes and refining written systems, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in testing, commissioning, or electrical engineering, with a focus on power plants, substations, or high-voltage systems.
• Proven proficiency in testing methodologies, quality assurance, and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with testing tools and industry-standard software for documentation and analysis.
