Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Accountant at Tawazon, your responsibilities will include:

• Financial Record-Keeping and Reporting: Prepare, maintain, and reconcile financial records, invoices, and ledgers with meticulous accuracy to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Ledger and Journal Management: Maintain general ledger entries, verify journal accuracy, and ensure all transactions align with accounting principles and internal controls.
• Financial Reporting: Generate and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support internal audits, management reviews, and strategic planning.
• Reconciliation and Compliance: Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer balances to identify discrepancies and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Payroll and Cost Allocation Support: Assist in payroll processing and inter-departmental cost allocations to optimize financial workflows and enhance operational transparency.
• Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with warehouse and operational teams to ensure seamless accounting processes that align with logistical and supply chain activities.

• 1-2 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in an industrial or supply chain environment, where attention to detail and process efficiency are paramount.
• Proficient Excel skills, including advanced functions, data analysis, and financial modeling, to handle complex datasets with ease.
