We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Senior Relationship Manager to lead our high-value corporate client portfolio in Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a trusted banking advisor, driving revenue growth, profitability, and strategic expansion across complex financial transactions and corporate relationships. As a key member of our Corporate Banking team, you will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing relationships with senior executives, including CEOs, CFOs, and treasurers, to deliver tailored financial solutions that align with their strategic objectives. Your strategic acumen will be instrumental in developing and executing sophisticated client strategies, ensuring sustained wallet-share growth and cross-selling opportunities across our comprehensive suite of products, including lending, structured financing, trade finance, cash management, and treasury services.

The ideal candidate will excel in high-stakes negotiations, leading pitches, and structuring complex transactions that drive measurable business outcomes. You will collaborate closely with internal product specialists, credit teams, and regulatory bodies to mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) guidelines, KYC, AML, and other legal requirements. Additionally, you will provide actionable market and sector insights to senior management, contributing to the overall growth and strategic direction of our Corporate Banking division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Relationship Development: Manage and elevate relationships with Saudi Arabia’s largest and most strategic corporate clients, acting as their primary banking advisor for all financial needs.
• Executive Engagement: Build and maintain strong connections with senior corporate leadership, including CEOs, CFOs, and treasurers, to understand and address their evolving financial priorities.
• Transaction Origination and Execution: Lead the origination, structuring, and negotiation of complex financing and transaction banking opportunities, ensuring alignment with client objectives and institutional goals.
• Revenue and Profitability Growth: Drive revenue expansion, profitability, and wallet-share growth through innovative financial solutions and cross-selling initiatives.
• Credit and Risk Management: Collaborate with Credit and Risk teams to assess, monitor, and mitigate risks associated with client portfolios, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Strategic Client Engagement: Lead high-impact client meetings, pitches, and proposals, delivering persuasive presentations that secure long-term partnerships.
• Portfolio Oversight: Monitor portfolio performance, credit quality, utilization, and limits to ensure optimal financial health and alignment with strategic targets.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with internal product partners, external advisors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate seamless transaction execution.
• Market Intelligence and Strategy: Provide deep market and sector insights to senior management, contributing to data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to SAMA regulations, KYC, AML policies, and internal governance frameworks in all client interactions and transactions.
• Team Development: Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the Corporate Banking division.

Qualifications and Experience:

To excel in this role, you must possess a robust blend of technical expertise, leadership, and industry knowledge. We are seeking candidates with:

• 7–10 years of experience in the banking sector, with a strong focus on Corporate/Commercial Banking, Relationship Management, complex credit facilities, and business development. Preference will be given to candidates with experience at leading Saudi, regional, or international banks operating within the Kingdom.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, complemented by advanced certifications in banking or finance (e.g., CFA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Proven expertise in corporate banking, credit analysis, and transaction structuring, with a track record of successfully originating and executing high-value corporate transactions.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior corporate executives in high-stakes negotiations and strategic discussions.
• Deep market knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s corporate landscape, including key economic sectors such as energy, construction, retail, and technology.
• Regulatory acumen, with a thorough understanding of SAMA requirements, compliance frameworks, and the broader regulatory environment impacting corporate banking.
• Strong commercial and risk judgment, enabling you to balance revenue growth with prudent risk management in dynamic market conditions.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is highly preferred, reflecting our commitment to serving Saudi Arabia’s diverse corporate clientele.
