Deployment Manager – Lead Enterprise-Scale System Deployments in a High-Stakes IT Environment

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of strategic and operational duties, including but not limited to:

• End-to-End Deployment Ownership: Plan, coordinate, and execute deployments across all environments—development, testing, UAT, and production—while ensuring all dependencies, risks, prerequisites, approvals, and rollback strategies are meticulously documented and validated before any change reaches production.
• Change Validation & Compliance: Lead the testing and validation process, confirming that functional, integration, regression, and business acceptance criteria are fully satisfied. Secure production readiness sign-offs from all relevant stakeholders, including technical, business, and compliance teams.
• Production Deployment & Stability Management: Oversee live deployments and manage the post-deployment stability period by defining validation criteria, monitoring system behavior, and key processes. Ensure formal closure of the stability period only after confirming the solution operates correctly in production.
• Continuous Compliance & Risk Monitoring: Actively monitor deployed systems and production processes to identify discrepancies between approved procedures and real-world behavior. Escalate any deviations that could pose risks to policy, control, or regulatory compliance.
• Stakeholder & Risk Coordination: Lead post-deployment reviews, manage deployment-related risks and issues across technical, business, security, and vendor teams. Maintain comprehensive governance records and provide regular reporting on deployment status, readiness, and compliance adherence.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record in enterprise IT deployment management. Your experience should include:

• 8+ Years of Enterprise IT Experience: Deep expertise in system deployments, release and change management, and production support within complex IT environments.
• Testing & Validation Expertise: A solid background in software or system testing methodologies, including functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
• Production Readiness & Governance: Proven ability to manage production readiness processes, including documentation, approval workflows, rollback planning, and stakeholder coordination.
• Regulatory & Compliance Acumen: Experience operating within environments governed by stringent risk, audit, compliance, or regulatory frameworks.
• Stakeholder & Communication Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate seamlessly across technical, business, and vendor teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
• ITSM Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with ITSM frameworks such as ITIL, with a focus on change and release management processes.

While not mandatory, the following will be highly valued:

• Regulated Industry Experience: Prior experience in industries such as financial services, government, or telecommunications, particularly within the GCC or broader Middle East region.
• Enterprise Platform Exposure: Hands-on experience with enterprise platforms like ERP, CRM, or core banking systems.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in ITIL, PMP, or related disciplines.
