Your Impact: Redefining Power Transformation

In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of designing and optimizing power transformers, ensuring they meet the demands of modern energy systems. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading transformer design initiatives: Focus on the primary and secondary design of transformers, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and global industry benchmarks.
• Collaborating across disciplines: Participate in critical design reviews, project kick-off meetings, and technical clarifications to refine solutions and drive innovation.
• Technical leadership: Provide expert guidance to production teams, resolving complex design challenges during manufacturing and ensuring seamless execution.
• Customer and supplier engagement: Clarify technical inquiries from customers regarding transformer specifications and collaborate with procurement teams to source high-quality components from local suppliers.
• Supporting operational excellence: Assist service teams in troubleshooting technical issues during installation, operation, and maintenance, ensuring long-term reliability.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative professional with a passion for engineering excellence. To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Design and Automation, Power Systems and Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in transformer final assembly design and main layout design, with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
• Familiarity with control and protection systems is a significant advantage, as it aligns with Siemens Energy’s focus on integrated, smart grid solutions.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is essential for effective communication within a global team. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• A collaborative mindset and strong problem-solving skills
• Willingness to relocate and work in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, where you will join a diverse, international team dedicated to innovation.
