Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of clinical duties, including:

• Direct Patient Care: Provide comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for ICU patients, ensuring timely interventions and optimal outcomes.
• Collaborative Rounds: Participate in daily rounds with senior physicians to review patient progress, adjust care plans, and implement evidence-based strategies.
• Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including clinical findings, treatment plans, and investigative results, using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to critical situations, stabilize patients, and coordinate with emergency response teams when necessary.
• Quality and Safety: Adhere to hospital protocols, international best practices, and stringent infection control measures to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Clinical Teaching and Mentorship: Engage in educational initiatives, including case discussions and training for junior staff, to foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Quality Improvement: Contribute to audits, performance reviews, and process enhancements to elevate the standard of care within the ICU.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this position, you will bring:

• A relevant medical degree and completion of an internship, with a preference for residency or formal training in internal medicine, anesthesia, emergency medicine, or critical care.
• Hands-on experience in intensive care settings, including expertise in managing ventilated patients and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Current professional licensure or registration eligible in the Riyadh Region, along with up-to-date certifications in BLS and ACLS. PALS certification is a significant advantage.
• Exceptional clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to perform under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, enabling effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and their families.
• Proficient use of electronic medical records and adherence to patient safety and infection control protocols.
• A commitment to lifelong learning, with an openness to evidence-based practice improvements and participation in quality initiatives.
• Fluency in English for clinical communication; while Arabic language skills are highly valued, they are not mandatory.
